Caracalla in Rome was richly decorated with mosaics created by the marble of various colors. The bath house was also equipped with statues and reliefs, but there are only a few remnants left of it today (even if the debris is large in comparison with the half-person to the left). Almost all the floors were tex. covered with black and white marble.
